About Me

Joel Luna, born in Puebla City, Mexico has been interested in art since his youth. He is an artist who enjoys working in oils (three-dimensional construction, using different materials), printmaking and ceramics. Joel began studying the fine arts in 1993 at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park. He also attended Self Help Graphics, were he learned the process of print making (wood cuts, etching, dry point, photo etching, monotype and silk screen) Joel has such a big passion for the fine arts were he expresses himself all his emotions and feelings letting people to enjoy and also to be part of his emotions and feelings. Joel‘s art work has been displayed in different galleries like; Vincent Price Gallery at East Los Angeles College, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Long Beach, UCLA, Summer Studio in Lomita California, Redondo Beach Performance Art Center (annual show of POA) and actually his art work is at a permanent location at Plaza El Segundo at El Segundo, California. He is a member of Redondo Beach Art Group and also Art Life Group located at the South Bay area, where he teaches mixed media to young adults and all people that has a big passion for the arts.
